HBO 드라마 , 워렌버핏되기 or 워렌버핏이된다는 것의 영어공부 2차 시간 입니다.

첨 시작할 떄는 몰랐는데 분량이 생각보다 많네요.

Youtube 에서 Becoming Warren Buffett 으로 찾아보시고 동영상은 1:25~28분짜리 찾아보면 됩니다.

영어 자막 및 공부는 이 블로그로 하시고요^^

고등학교에 가서 학생들 상대로 강연하는 장면입니다.

(70년전 고등학생이라니^^;;)

And When I was in high school, I really only had two things on my mind.
Girls and Cars (all laugh)
And I was not doing very well with girls, so we'll talk about cars.

But let's just imagine that when we finish, I'm going to let each one of you pick out the car of your choice.

Sounds good, isn't it?
Pick it out any color, you name it.
It will be tied up with a bow. It will be at your house tomorrow.

And you say  "Well, what's the catch?"
And the catch is "that it is the only car you're going to get in your life time."

Now, What are you going to do, knowing that that's the only car and you're ever going to have and you love that car ?

You're going to take care of it, like you cannot believe.

Now what I'd lke to suggest is that you're not going to get only one car in your life time, but you're gonna get one body and one mind, and that's all you're going to get.

And that body and mind feels terrific now, but it has to last youa life time.

워렌버핏은 세계에서 가장 부자인 사람중 한분으로 유명한 투자가 이기도 합니다.

그분에 관련한 다큐멘터리이니, 흥미롭게 보고 철학을 엿볼수 있는 기회라 생각합니다.

전 몇번봤는데 어렵지않을듯 하여 시리즈로 연재하기로 맘먹음ㅋ

Woman : Even though, he's in the money business, he doesn't even own a calculator or a computer.

Man : He takes the long view,  and it made him billions, many billions

Man : maybe you can beat the house but I don't think you can beat Warren Buffett.
Buffett filed his first tax return at 13 years old.
But he is no average billionaires, Tom(말하는 사람중 하나로 보임)

Man : Warren Buffett has an approach that doesn't make him very popular with his fellow billionaires.
